SUMMARY:Public Dig Day at Timberneck
DESCRIPTION:October is Virginia Archaeology Month\, and October 18th is International Archaeology Day (IAD)! We’re celebrating by having a public dig next to the Timberneck House in Machicomoco State Park. The excavation will be by the kitchen that was added to the house in the 20th century.
